About me

Hi, my name is Kamila, or Kama for short 🙂

Kama – is also my spiritual name. It reminds me of the importance of pursuing pleasure in life, enjoying this Earthly adventure, and appreciating the beauty of each moment and all the sensory experiences we get in a human body.

In my old life, I am known as Dr Kamila Hortynska – clinical psychologist, holistic life coach, mindfulness teacher and CBT therapist with 24 years of experience. This is still important because it gives me lots of tools I can use when working with you, individually and in groups, but it is only a part of who I am now.

After the spiritual awakening I had 6 years ago, I am now a deeply fulfilled woman on a mission to inspire women like you, to live the life of your dreams, to follow your passions, and never give up on your desires and aspirations.

Dance and conscious movement along Soul Body Fusion® and tantric practices were essential in my own healing journey and finding wholeness again. I still dance to heal and dance to feel. I don’t think I will ever stop because dancing is also a way to connect with a Divine sparkle within me.

Although it was always part of my soul plan, I have not been born like that, but having walked the path of leaving one successful (but unfulfilling) life, to create the life of my dreams here in Greece, I can now confidently guide you in creating yours too!

In case you’re wondering..
what is Kama, or why Kama?

First of all, it’s a short from my full name Kamila, but also..
In Hinduism, Kama is both cosmic and human energy, which animates life. It is an essential and joyful aspect of healthy human existence, without which life is hollow and empty. Kama is considered one of 4 basic goals to pursue, along with Dharma (virtuous, ethical life), Moksha (liberation, self-realization) and Artha (material needs and income security).

Kama is an ancient concept referring to any desire, wish, longing, appreciation, or passion for pleasure, enjoyments of life, love, art, beauty, aesthetics, affection, connection, sensual pleasures (with or without sexual connotations), divine communion and joy. Kamadeva is comparable to the Greek Eros—they both trigger human sexual attraction and sensual desire.Using name Kama reminds me of all the pleasure we can experience from the world, with one or more of our senses: hearing, seeing, tasting, smelling, and feeling the body in harmony with mind and soul.

My first contact with ecstatic dance was a very beautiful experience. I did not expect to feel so comfortable with people I was seeing for the first time. There was identification and a strong interaction of emotions and movements at the same time.
